How to Download and install the latest scanner driver on Windows.

Procedure:

1. Download the appropriate Driver File for your scanner to your local computer by clicking on the file link.

2. Execute the downloaded Driver File by double clicking on it. 
This will expand all the driver files to a specific folder on your local computer.
The default folder is C:\TMP\Driver_Name.

3. Update the scanner driver by opening the Device Manager.

a. Locate the Scanner Device by clicking on Imaging Devices in the Device Manager screen.
   (NOTE: The Scanner Device may sometimes be found under OTHER DEVICES, or UNKNOWN DEVICE)

b. Right-click on the Scanner Device, and select UPDATE driver.

c. Select "Browse my computer for driver software" 

d. Browse to the folder containing the driver (C:\TMP\Driver_Name), and select it.

e. Follow the prompts to complete the driver installation.
